Changelog
November 2026
- Improved Connection details for Cursor, VS Code and Gemini CLI
The connection guide now has copy-ready settings for Cursor, VS Code, Gemini CLI and any other MCP-ready app, so developers are connected in a minute.
- Improved Count sites per operator or city in one question
Ask your assistant how many charging sites each operator or city has within a radius, region or country. It now answers in one step instead of many searches, so answers come faster.
- Improved A clearer login for new addresses
If you ask for a login link with an address that has no account yet, we now e-mail you how to create one, instead of leaving you waiting for a link that never comes.
- Changed A new name: European Charging Data
The service is now called European Charging Data by SolidRoam. Same data, same plans, same connector address. Your account, key and subscription carry on unchanged.
- Improved Your assistant now sees the full feature list
Your assistant now sees everything the service offers, even features above your plan, so it can tell you what upgrading would add instead of assuming a feature does not exist.
- Improved Charging session stats by city
Business plan: estimated charging session counts and durations can now be broken down by city within a country, alongside the existing per-operator and per-day views.
October 2026
- Improved Video guides load only when you press play
The video guides on the connection page no longer contact YouTube until you press play, so just reading the page stays private.
- New Czech charging stations added
The Czech Republic is now in the service: about 2,100 sites and 7,700 charge points with operators, plug types and power from the national register. There is no live status for Czech stations.
- New Tell us what you think from your assistant
After some use your assistant may ask how the service works for you and pass your rating to the team, always after you approved the text. Nothing is sent without your yes.
- Improved Video guide for connecting ChatGPT
Watch a short video that shows how to add the service to ChatGPT, step by step; it is linked from the connection guide.
- New Connect Claude or ChatGPT in minutes
A step-by-step guide shows how to connect the service to Claude and ChatGPT, signing in with your account.
- New Ask us anything from your assistant
Send a message or question to the SolidRoam team straight from your AI assistant; the answer comes to your account's e-mail address.
- Changed Final terms in plain language
Our terms, privacy notice and data notices are now final and short enough to read in one sitting, so you know exactly what you can do with the data.
- Removed Only fully licensed sources in paid plans
Four small German feeds whose terms are still unconfirmed are no longer shown, so every record you receive comes with clear reuse rights.
- Improved Known data problems listed openly
The status page and your assistant now tell you when a source's own data has a problem, so you know which figures to trust.
- Improved Your subscription at a glance
The account page shows your plan, usage today, limits and renewal in clear tiles instead of long text.
- Improved A clearer Enterprise offer
Your account page now shows what Enterprise adds and lets you describe your needs when you ask for an offer.
- New Opening hours, parking and access
Analyst and up see opening hours, parking type and how to authenticate where the sources state them, and can find sites open around the clock.
- New Search by plug type and power
Analyst and up can find sites and charge points by plug type, AC or DC and minimum power, and every charge point shows its connectors.
- New See how fresh the data is
A status page shows, country by country, when data last arrived and when we had gaps. Your assistant is told about current gaps as soon as it connects.
- New Know what is new at a glance
A running list of improvements, with the newest on the front page. Your AI assistant gets it when it connects, so it can tell you what the service can do now.
- New Coverage by country at a glance
See for every country how much data there is, how fresh and complete it is, and what your plan includes.
- Improved Clear source credits
Every answer comes with ready-made source credits, so you can show the data with confidence.
- Data More charging points in Germany
GP JOULE Connect joins the German data.
- Removed Belgium and Portugal paused
Both are paused until the data owners have confirmed reuse in writing. Austria remains unavailable.
- Improved A simpler operator list
The list of operators is cleaner and easier to read.
- New Easier to report security issues
Contact details for security researchers are now published.
- New Compare plans in one table
Compare every plan side by side on the front page, and ask your assistant about plans and prices any time.
- Improved A calmer account page
Manage plan, keys and connections in one place. Cancel any paid plan with one click; closing an account ends the subscription.
- Data More operators in Germany
Eco-Movement and GLS Mobility join the German data.
- Data Poland open to every plan
Polish charging data is now available in all plans.
- Improved Faster reliability and availability answers
Questions about whole countries and operators now answer faster.
Newest first. The same list is returned to assistants that connect through MCP (nap_get_entitlements, field whats_new) and is available as a feed at /changelog.atom.
